Move items in the Documents area

You can move subfolders and files within folders that your accountant has shared with you in the Documents screen.

To move one or more items, mark the checkboxes for the items that you want to move and choose Manage > Move.

  • You can also move an item by clicking it and then dragging and dropping it into a different folder.
  • You can drag and drop an item to a location in the path at the top of the screen. This feature is currently available from within all supported browsers, with the exception of Internet Explorer.
  • You can move items only if your accountant has assigned appropriate permissions for shared folders in the Documents area. For more information on shared folder permissions, contact your accountant.
  • Items that you move inherit the permissions of the folder to which you move the item.
