Set up staff tax roles and enter EFINs

If your firm is licensed for Onvio Tax, use the Roles tab to assign a tax role to a staff member and store related information.

Note: You must have security permission to edit staff information.

  1. In Onvio Center, click Setup > Staff and click Edit next to the name of the staff member.
  2. Click the Roles tab.

    Note: You will see an informational message if the staff member hasn't been assigned to the preparer role.

  3. Mark the Preparer checkbox, and then the information fields will become visible and available for you to complete.
  4. Click Save.
